Keep DV Video Visible When Switching from STP

I am trying to sync STP to Logic in order to use my firewire bridge (in order to use it in combination with LP 64bit), and it works except that when I switch from STP the outputted video over firewire stops - as the program is no longer topped. In Logic there was a setting to keep video visible in background when switching applicaitons and I am sure there must be a similar setting in STP.

Does anyone know how to keep the video visible when the program is not topped?

The audio still plays back and it is still syncing - I just get no video unless I switch back to STP.
